With the growth of an aging population in San Diego county and San Ysidro Health’s goal to expand senior services, the organization looked into the PACE program as another option to offer seniors. In 2014, an application was submitted to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and San Ysidro Health received approval.
