Before beginning work at a project every constructor and employer engaged in construction must complete an approved registration form (Form 1000). This requirement is set out in section 5 of the Regulation for Construction Projects (O. Reg. 213/91).

The requirement for each employer to complete a Form 1000 and for the constructor to ensure it is kept at a project remains, regardless of whether the workers have WSIB coverage or not. Employers must fill out the form with the applicable information.
