20 maj 2020 · Installing Oblivion. Purchase and download Oblivion from GOG. The GOG version is the only one recommended for this guide and is highly recommended over Steam or retail. If you wait for a sale, it’s less than $7. Download the three “offline backup game installers” instead of trying to download through GOG Galaxy.
Use OblivionLauncher.exe to open the game, not Oblivion.exe. Install Steam and buy Oblivion on there. I've seen so many memes of Oblivion that I really wanna fucking play this game but I don't have a windows device. Any help?

Switching desktops while in fullscreen crashes the game. Set mscoree override to Native (Windows) from winecfg under Libraries tab and set Windows version to Windows XP. Download .NET 3.5 from [1] and install it. Set Windows version to Windows 10 from winecfg. Comment: Character creation screen freezes, unable to get to actual gameplay.
