Who qualifies to renew their card online? MAY RENEW ONLINE. If you took the iPad-based food safety test in-person at an SNHD office after July 2018 (expiration date after July 2021), you can renew online rather than in person. Standard card fees apply. No appointment is needed. Please follow the instructions below on how to renew online.
Most clients whose Food Handler Card expired after July 2021 will be considered a renewal. Some may not qualify.* Renewal applicants will need to schedule an appointment to take the food safety test in person at one of our locations. Renewal applicants may be eligible to renew online.

20 lip 2022 · On Tuesday, the Southern Nevada Health District announced that clients who took their food safety test in person at a Health District location after July 2018, can now renew their cards online, no appointment required. The new online process is available here.
Health Cards are issued by the Southern Nevada Health District. Beginning in 2018, changes were made to the Health Card program. You are no longer required to complete a mandatory online training for a fee before getting your card.
