New Process equipped the NP435 with synchronized gears in second through fourth gears. First gear and reverse are not synchronized, which is typical for heavy-duty transmissions designed for low-speed, high-torque applications.

5 wrz 2023 · The Chrysler A-833 was a four-speed manual transmission manufactured by New Process Gear for 1964 - ‘86 Mopar vehicles. The four-speed found its way into many Max Wedge, 440, and Hemi-powered muscle cars. An overdrive variant was developed in 1975 and used in many Mopar cars, trucks, and vans.
