This data collection contains the 2001 Population Census for Nepal, conducted by the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS). It was the tenth decennial census in the history of census taking in Nepal. The census consisted of two phases: the Household Listing (May 14-28, 2001) and the Individual Enumeration (June 10-26, 2001).
