4 gru 2022 · 04/12/22 - 21:00 #11103. Channel 5 just played 'Britains Favourite Christmas Songs', It's the first time I've seen Channel 5 do any music programming, and quite interesting to see. The idents and Song/Title cards are very reminiscent of MTV music channels. Nice to see a mainstream channel do a countdown like this!

8 maj 2009 · The UK is missing a well presented, contemporary looking music channel like Deluxe Music in Germany - now I'm not saying the music content is 100% but the presentation of the channel is. There used to be a jukebox channel on sky in the late 80s to mid 90s which broadcast on the Lifestyle channel at night.
30 sty 2024 · I don't think I've watched a music channel in years now, and I used to watch them a lot in the late 1990s/early 2000s and listen to music most days. I can just Alexa to play a playlist and let it do its thing, and if I don't like a track I can tell Alexa to skip it. I've often found new artists etc. via a playlist.
17 paź 2024 · But only as a stream, not a real TV channel, so a channel front end with a slate saying click red to launch the stream so you need a connected TV which works with Freeview streams. It should mean though you see the programmes on the stream in the EPG so can decide if you want to watch or not before launching the stream.

5 sty 2024 · 05/01/24 - 17:33 #1. Sky helpforum. Tuesday 9th. STV Glasgow SD (Satellite 103) replaced by STV Edinburgh SD. STV Dundee SD (Satellite 103) replaced by STV Aberdeen SD. That implies that the SD channels will be reduced from all 4 regions to 2 macro-regions. So all 4 STV HD channels become FTA and join FreeSat on Tuesday.
21 lut 2016 · P.S. My newest favorite is late beautiful precious Billy Joe Royal, if only I had discovered him sooner. I remember CMT (Country Music Television) had an European channel that was available on SKY for a couple of years in the middle of the 1990s as part of the company's ambitious expansion programme.
5 dni temu · I was reading about Super Channel, a pan-Europe satellite channel launched by a group of ITV companies and Branson in 1987 - everyone except Thames. It didn't do well, NBC bought it then it eventually shut. Anne Diamond's there of course, Allo Allo do a strange intro, Paul McDowell off Newsround, Spitting Image puppets, actual Maggie Thatcher ...
VH2. Musicans Channel. Red TV/Redemption TV/Rockworld TV. The original 'MTV2'. The rock stand on Fizz. 'U-Rock'. VH1 Classic (for it's old rock videos). My choice: Between P-Rock and The Amp. I used to really enjoy having VH2 and The Amp on, but as they're no longer around I tend to flick between MTV Rocks and NME TV.
