I've been using Modafinil for several years, and while I may not be properly addicted to it, I am definitely dependant on it. I am the better for it I would say, but my life improved just as much when I realized I always had to pay the piper, as when I first started taking it.
For the past 3 years I have been taking 25mg (quarter of a 100mg tablet) in the morning as soon as I wake up. I experience none of the side effects, I have a general smooth +10% stat in gaming terms throughout the day and have no difficulty sleeping.
