3 sty 2023 · For over 30 years, Project Recover has been the nation’s leading citizen-led, non-profit organization to search, locate, document, recover, and repatriate the over 81,500 American service members missing in action and to bring recognition and closure to the estimated 5,000,000 MIA Gold Star family members.
The initial focus of the MIA Project will be a massive, nation-wide effort to locate, identify and inter the unclaimed remains of forgotten veterans. 28 paź 2011 · In May 2007, The American Legion's National Executive Committee passed Resolution 24, formally endorsing the Missing in America Project (MIAP), a growing network of volunteers who want to see these veterans properly laid to rest.
