This will make the Mint grubx64.efi key a trusted key and allow Mint to boot with secure boot enabled. The actual steps are different due to lack of standardization in UEFI implementation but the basic steps are the same.

FYI, to any still reading, after getting the x11vnc server installed and tested, I went back to using NoMachine desktop server and client to control my Linux Mint 21 desktop.
24 lut 2022 · Linux Mint 20.x no longer support 32-bit. Your options on Linux Mint are to use Linux Mint 19.3, which reaches end of life in about a year, or consider LMDE—the Linux Mint edition based on Debian instead of on Ubuntu. LMDE 4 is the current release of that but Linux Mint will likely end support for it later this year.
18 lut 2017 · Also if you're using grub to boot Linux Mint, its my recollection that the MBR looks at particular sectors of your partition for its required grub information, and if you move/expand the partition if may impact this. I know there's a workaround, but don't know it off-hand.

I don't like to upgrade after using a system for a long time so decided to backup, do a fresh install of 21.3 then immediately upgrade to 22. 28 mar 2019 · As long as it says Good signature from "Linux Mint ISO Signing Key <root@linuxmint.com>" and with a fingerprint matching the one shown above and that you used to download the key, then that means your download is authentic.
14 sie 2024 · Etcher has always worked for me in Mint. Just not now in Mint 22. Tinca, I will download the zip file and see if I can get Etcher to install on Mint 22. I just find it odd that I can install Etcher in MX Linux 23.3 but not in Mint 22.
