27 paź 2015 · A Miller Dialarc 250HF or 330A/BP will both give you much more capacity than the 180 and can be had for around $500. They don't have square wave, but I've welded miles of aluminum with mine and it does a fantastic job.
12 maj 2010 · Have a chance to pick up a Syncrowave 180 SD. I know it's old, transformer type, and current consumption is high. It's an old welder!!! It's in good shape hardly used, bare bones unit with foot pedal. What would be the fair market value on this machine given the info provided? Thanks in advance.
6 sty 2020 · The 180 SD is a good machine IMO but most people aren't capable of repairing the boards and replacement boards (IF they're still available) will cost far more than the machine is worth. FYI I paid $800 for mine (just the torch and the machine, no tanks or extra parts) and that was almost ten years ago so $1250 seems high.

7 mar 2017 · Hello, I am new to TIG welding and have been looking at some stater machines. A good friend has a like new Miller Syncrowave 180SD that he is wanting to sell. He said he used it 3 times. I am not needing to weld aluminum any thicker then 3/16" (mainly just automotive inter-cooler piping).
