The Scioto Mile is a collection of parks and trails along both banks of the Scioto River in Columbus, Ohio, connecting parts of the Scioto Greenway Trail with downtown Columbus and Franklinton. The nine parks cover 145 acres (59 ha).
Offering panoramic views of the Scioto Mile Fountain and riverfront, Milestone 229, which opened its doors in 2011, is open daily for lunch and dinner. An architectural icon along the riverfront, the building design includes rooftop solar panels to help power the fountain and restaurant.
