30 wrz 2012 · I have a Mesa Boogie Simul Class 2:Ninety that's over 10 years old and it is the loudest yet clearest power amp I have ever used. Why if its only 90 watts per side can it be more powerful than a 1000 watt per side solid state power amp?
16 lip 2022 · The Mesa 2:90 will make everything sound bigger. The deep mod can cure thin low-end easily. But it still will be different from the real amp I guess.
the 2 / 90 is suitable for all styles of music, like his friend the Triax. I would do well on this choice, when you taste a good mechanic, Quench! in short everything you throw quickly to pass his old stuff this monster ..
3 lip 2006 · Fantastic review, thanks for mentioning! The tedious editing of the SW fuctions can be made easier with the TriAxis editing software which is about as simple as can be to use. I've been looking at the 2:90 to replace my beloved Randall RT2/50, this review may well have done the trick! :mrgreen:
18 wrz 2002 · It is a great amp. The 2/90 has way more features and way more power. It really depends what you are going to use the amps for. If you don't use a Triaxis and don't need a lot of power or volume, get the 20/20. It is lighter, sounds great, and is one rack space.
18 lis 2012 · I am a huge fan of the mesa 2:90. I have used it with a PODxt pro for a long time and it is a very versatile setup. The key is to not use any of the modes with the pod. It sounds more open that way. With tube preamps the different modes work very well, just not so good with the pod.
14 sie 2017 · Does the 2:90 have 8 6L6s? i played over 1200 shows all over using my trusty old GSP1101/ProValve Tube Stereo Power amp and cabs. Digital flexibility with tube warmth and push. Great hybrid rig. 35 lbs seems very reasonable for that amp.
