Cover Virginia also operates a statewide customer service call center for Medicaid and the FAMIS Programs at 1-855-242-8282. The call center provides general program information, application status, explanation of coverage and benefits, and assistance in resolving application issues.
Search for a health care provider by type, location, and more. In Virginia Medicaid's Managed Care program (including FAMIS), you are a member of a Managed Care Organization (MCO). An MCO is a health plan with a group of doctors and other providers working together to give you health services.
Members can use their blue-and-white Medicaid ID cards, or green-and-white Plan First ID cards until they receive a Medicaid Fee-for-Service card with the Cardinal Care logo. Both the old and the new cards are accepted by Medicaid providers.
