12 paź 2015 · I had hoped there was a Win 7 version of the media creation tool, but have been unable to find one. Recently had to do this with my laptop running Windows 8 and it was a breeze. Am a little hesitant to go back to Windows 10, but am not sure what my options are for Win 7 seeing I have no install media. I do have the product key on the machine.

According to your situation, the reason why you encountered this problem is most likely because USB is not set as the preferred boot device in the BIOS boot sequence, so the media media cannot boot smoothly.

3 sie 2015 · Isha Soni's help is no use. We are here trying to use the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool because the Windows 10 update/Windows 10 installation tools are failing at installation. Isha - your help just tells us to try the Windows Upgrade tool again to do it -- it doesn't work.
