ONLINE MARRIAGE APPLICATION. The following online Marriage License request is only intended to shorten the amount of time you have to spend in our office. Once you have completed the online request, you will be asked to submit this to our office for approval.
If you plan to get married in Ohio, you must have an Ohio marriage license. Apply for your license in the County where either of you live. If you live outside Ohio, but plan to get married in Ohio, apply for a license in the County where the ceremony will take place.
Where do we obtain our marriage license? Marriage licenses are valid for 60 days after issuance and can be obtained from the Franklin County Probate Court. Couples must have a non-expired license on the day of the ceremony.
