I just took a HP Vista era laptop to Ubuntu 20.04. I originally intended/attempted to install Linux Mint but it wouldn't see the wireless card and I didn't feel like manually installing the drivers. Ubuntu 20.04 has the drivers in the iso. I'm amazed at how well it runs in 4GB of RAM.
