If the monitor emitted absolutely no radiation, that means it fails at being a monitor. Light is radiation. If that sounds pedantic, it's exactly this premise (light == radiation) that has caused so much confusion about the dangers of radiation.
3 paź 1994 · Każdy monitor używający lampy kineskopowej CRT (cathode ray tube) jest źródłem pola elektromagnetycznego. Aktualnie stosowane do ich produkcji technologie po prostu nie pozwalają tego uniknąć.
27 kwi 2019 · Computer monitor radiation is still a threat, even after the switch to LCD screens. Learn what you can do to shield yourself today!
8 gru 2019 · CRT monitors do emit detectable amounts of X-rays and have an extremely strong EM field as a necessary part of their operation. They also have a "degauss" pulse on power-on which is very strong and can damage magnetic media nearby.
A light-emitting diode (LED) is a semiconductor device that emits optical radiation when an electric current passes through it. Most LEDs emit a narrow band of wavelengths ranging from infrared (at a wavelength of approximately 1000 nanometers) to ultraviolet (about 300 nanometers).
31 sie 2020 · Newer LCD (Liquid-Crystal Display) and flat-panel monitors do not emit X-ray radiation. Some LCD monitors may emit a small amount of UV (ultraviolet) radiation, but the amounts are so small that there is virtually no risk to the human body.
