28 sty 2020 · Look at the MOPAR swap grid on HOTWIRE AUTO website to see if your engine is using the same communications bus as your Jeep does native. This saves lots of headache on MOPAR family engine swaps and makes things much easier when your gauges all work and talk to the ECU properly.
11 lut 2008 · The 2.5 Jeeps are very gear ratio sensitive. For example, you have 31" tires and most likely stock 4.10s. That is mathematically like running 3.55 gears, which dramatically impacts the four banger's ability to work in its powerband. The general consensus for 2.5s is 4.56 for 31 and 4.88 for 33.

13 cze 2009 · Update on what's been going on. I found an 89 Jeep 2.5L 5spd in great running condition (slight oil leak from the pan) in terrible body shape. I would like to do a full drivetrain swap (engine tranny transfer case). Is there any differences in the tranny from 89 to 95? What about the transfer case?
