18 mar 2022 · Could anyone share their success stories of getting pregnant through IVF in their early 40s? I just had my first round of IVF and it seems like it didn't work. My beta HCG test is scheduled for Monday.
My wife and I have been successful now with 2 kids via IVF at over 40. My wife was 41 and I was 40 at the time of our first retrieval which only had 1 viable PGT tested embryo resulting in a baby girl for us.
I did six retrievals when I was 40. My first FET at 41 was a euploid from my second retrieval (no euploids resulted from my first retrieval.) It was successful. My second FET at age 42 was a euploid from my fourth retrieval, it was also successful, I gave birth at 43.
In a similar situation, I'm 40 and had my second ER last week - waiting for day 6 results today. AMH 1.4 was supposed to get 8 but, only got 4 on 1st ER - none of them made it to biopsy. This time we got 3, they all fertilized but only 2 were left yesterday.
