Situated at Pulchowk of Lalitpur metropolitan city, Pulchowk Campus is the central campus of Institute of Engineering. Established in 1972 AD, the campus is second oldest engineering institution of Nepal after Thapathali Campus.
Institute of engineering began bachelor courses in engineering from 1978, master courses from 1996, doctoral program from 2003 and Post-doctoral program from 2018. By now, Bachelor's, Master's, doctoral programs are run in Pulchowk Campus, Pulchowk.
The Institute of Engineering(IOE), founded in 1930 (1987/11/19BS) as Nepal’s first technical school and reformed to present shape in 1972, is producing outstanding engineering technicians and engineers for more than 80 years.
