16 paź 2017 · 1. The Windows command line version of 7-zip is an executable called 7za.exe. You can use the "l" switch to list the contents of an archive. 7za l C:\path\to\archive.7z. (That's a lower-case L with no slash or dash in front) To search for a specific file, you can pipe the result through findstr. 7za l C:\path\to\archive.7z | findstr "blah".
23 wrz 2017 · In File Explorer, I can enter search terms in the upper-right search box to search the current folder and all subfolders. I can also navigate the folder tree of zip archives like any other folders.
In Windows Explorer, click on “organize”> folder options > search tab > check “include compressed files” (zip, cab). This will allow search to find your compressed files. I hope this helps.

20 mar 2013 · Try using zless if you would like to browse a single zipped file. This may be less useful when the zip contains multiple files. Per the description from the man page: Zless is a filter which allows examination of compressed or plain text files one screenful at a time on a soft-copy terminal.
2 wrz 2014 · zipgrep will work with zip files only. If you want to grep all files, not only zipped files, then you could use ugrep , which allows to do that with -z flag. Share
