25 sie 2010 · The problem with buying on Ebay is the owner can still report the phone lost/stolen after the sale so any IMEI check will show it as clear when you look. I get 1 or 2 calls a week from people that have bought on the 'bay and then days/weeks later find the phone get blacklisted. . .

I have nationwide's flex plus insurance package. their terms mention that the proof of ownership must show the IMEI number, make and model. The iphone I got from John Lewis only mentioned the make and mode, but not the IMEI. Did anyone had the same issue?

The nmber to send the text to may also depend on whether it's PAYG or a contract - and that depends on the network.
