17 lut 2020 · A new 2020 I-9 version of the employment eligibility verification form has been issued. The new version is dated 10/21/2019 but will not become mandatory until May 1. Employers can choose to use the previous edition dated 07/17/2017 or the new 2020 I9 edition.
Form I-9 Requirements. As of May 1, 2020 you can only use Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, with the 10/21/2019 revision date for all new hires and reverifications. Employers are not required to have Forms I-9 for employees hired on or before November 6, 1986.
21 paź 2019 · On Jan. 31, 2020, USCIS published the Form I-9 Federal Register notice announcing a new version of Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, that the Office of Management and Budget approved on Oct. 21, 2019. This new version contains minor changes to the form and its instructions.
