14 wrz 2011 · "I'm good," means I am well behaved. A child is likely to say this. I cannot comment on American English - I had never heard of "I'm good" being used as an alternative to "I'm fine" until I came across this forum.

In addition, "I'm doing good" seems to express the idea of doing things that are morally good (or good for the target of the good being done). For example, a 'do-gooder' (like Superman) could accurately say, "I'm doing good." –
If I hear it on television or read it in a book, I readily understand it. If I am writing a formal document or giving a talk, I avoid it. Even dictionaries acknowledge this usage. This suggests that you're saying that she says that using the word you can be considered too informal. But I don't say her saying it. If it's just your opinion, you should clarify that.

23 wrz 2021 · In the movie "Vacation Friends", One person tries to give another one an edible moss. But that person (receiver) says "Nah, I'm good on tree pubes." It's obvious what the moss looks like. But how can one "be good on" it? What does "I'm good on..." mean here? None of the customary definitions seem to fit.
