4 lis 2010 · I have an HP CLJ (Color LaserJet) 2840 AIO (All In One) printer. This machine gave me "Scanner ERROR 5" as follows, 01- I Turned on the main switch. 02- LCD = Hewlett-Packard. 03- The LASER Printer initialized. 04- The Scanner Bulb lit up to 100% and the scanner block moved about 2cm to the left.

31 mar 2015 · I think the ground wire is somewhere near the scanner motor, and goes to the printer frame. Look for corosion around it. After that, you're either looking at a scanner unit or a board.
