HSVP is the urban planning agency of Haryana state, formerly known as HUDA. It was established in 1977 and has four divisions, twelve departments and various facilities for developing residential, commercial, industrial and institutional areas.
HSVP is a statutory body under Haryana Urban Development Authority Act, 1977, that promotes and secures development of urban areas in a systematic and planned way. It has a Chairman, a Vice-Chairman, a Chief Administrator and other members, and is divided into 30 Urban Estates supervised by 5 Zonal Administrators.
