19 lip 2024 · As part of President Biden’s Investing in America agenda, American families can lower their energy costs by upgrading home appliances, insulating their homes, and making energy-efficient improvements thanks to a historic investment from President Biden’s landmark Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).
The Inflation Reduction Act includes significant funding for states and tribes to offer rebates to households that install new electric appliances, including super-efficient heat pumps, water heaters, clothes dryers, stoves, and ovens and for households that make repairs and improvements that increase energy efficiency.
These energy efficient home improvement credits are available for 30% of costs - up to $2,000 - and can be combined with credits up to $1,200 for other qualified upgrades made in one tax year.
