25 paź 2022 · By most accounts, the spirit of a little girl wanders the halls of the four-story Golden Lamb. She is Sarah Stubbs, who in 1882, moved into the Lebanon House, as we were then called, with her mother and baby sister after her father died at the age of 32.

25 paź 2019 · Many guests and employees of our more than 215-year-old property have given reports of paranormal activity during their time at the Golden Lamb. In fact, some say that the spirits of several ghosts still occupy the rooms of restaurant and hotel.
She lived at the Golden Lamb in the late 1800s, while her uncle ran the inn. Although she lived to an old age, her ghost appears as a 5-year-old child. Golden Lamb historian John Zimkus says some people believe that a traumatic event can lead spirits return to Earth at an earlier age.
30 paź 2015 · Employees of the inn claim to see the ghost of Vallandigham from time to time peering out of the inn windows. There have been other reported ghost sightings at the Golden Lamb as well. Some believe the ghost of a little girl named Eliza haunts the inn.
There’s also the ghost of a little girl who roams the building. This ghost is said to be either Sarah Stubbs, who lived at the Golden Lamb when she was a child, or Eliza Clay, the daughter of politician Henry Clay, who fell ill and died while at the establishment.

Her ghost, wearing a white nightgown, has been seen by many guests; she is said to materialize at night to play with her toys. Staff says three guests have died in the inn, and their spirits never left.
