Loaves & Fishes/Friendship Trays is now Nourish Up! On January 11, Loaves & Fishes/Friendship Trays unveiled a new name – Nourish Up – and a new brand, signaling a new chapter for this organization that has been fighting food insecurity in our community for nearly half a century.
Nourish Up delivers nutritious meals to homebound people in Mecklenburg County, NC. It is not affiliated with Friendship Trays, which serves Charlotte and surrounding areas.

11 sty 2019 · Charlotte’s main Meals on Wheels program, Friendship Trays, brings nutritious meals to people who cannot prepare their own and serves as part of a social support network. A Friendship Trays recipient accepts a poinsettia gift and a meal from volunteer Mary Jane Ramsey, who has volunteered on this route for 15 years.
Nourish Up, formerly Loaves & Fishes/Friendship Trays, is a network of emergency food pantries and the primary Meals On Wheels program in Mecklenburg Co. providing nutritionally balanced groceries for neighbors in need and healthy prepared meals for those unable to prepare or secure meals for themselves.
