5 lis 2015 · A good Club Formula Ford can typically be bought for about $10K. Newer cars can approach that number and go up to more than $60K. There is a great Swift DB1 for sale on Apexspeed.com for $13K which seems like a crazy good deal to me. Apexspeed.com is a great resource for all things amateur formula car racing. 24 cze 2010 · It includes a bag seat, pedals and master cylinders and two dash panels. Macon Formula Ford Body. Not sure of the year, but my guess is around 1969. It is too narrow for the chassis. My plan was to split the body along the center line and add two inches of fiberglass, since it needs to be refinished anyway.

1 wrz 2019 · The Formula Ford stuff is a LOLA chassis that looks like its never been used or assembled. The tag reads, Model 202, Chassis No. 202/.74. Its got a fresh coat of paint and currently on some assembly stands. There is a built 771M kent engine (dry sump, aftermarket ignition, intake, weber carb), a stock 711M engine along with an extra block.

Startup cost: If you are looking for an entry level Formula Car, FV is the most economical (f500 is not that bad either). 9 cze 2021 · 6/9/21 1:48 p.m. I've been into the track hobby for about 6 years, mostly in Miatas. A year ago I bought an early 1.6L Spec Miata and an enclosed trailer. This winter I got my SCCA competition license and began racing, which has been a hoot. My goals are to have fun, stay safe, and continue to improve my driving to be regionally competitive.
28 sty 2018 · 1600cc for FST (which also allows disk brakes, something FV doesn't) According to Wikipedia, Super Vee started out using the 1600cc aircooled engine, eventually moved on to the 1st gen GTI engine. The big difference between Super V and the other two is that Super V doesn't mandate suspension based on the VW Bug suspension.

I have numerous spares for it. 2 spare 494s plus 2 additional rebuildable engines, spare set of wheels tires, ignition boxes, 2 sets of carbs, sore clutch belt etc.
