12 paź 2022 · Instead, I renamed "steam_api64.dll" inside <Steam Folder>\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY XIV Online\boot to "steam_api64-bak.dll" That seems to consistently work for me, and it persists through Steam restarting. I'm assuming it will work until FFXIV pushes an update for that file.

31 lip 2021 · Tbh even with a VPN most people report low download speeds in the launcher. It's been something that's happened since the game launched and I assume they throttle download speeds during peak game hours to reduce the load on their servers, but nothing I've ever done seemed to make much difference.
3 lis 2015 · So i fixed the problem, i was running google chrome, BUT my internet explorer wasnt set up and i had to change setting in that to actually got my computer to actually connect to ffxi , so even if you use a different service like google chrome you still need to go into internet explorer internet settings and turn down cookies and security settings..... im so happy when it worked i pee'd a little
