If your car has the old style oil pump with the short casing like this you will find it very difficult to find a new replacement as Fiat no longer produce them and have no stock. You will find that the replacement sent will be the style fitted to the 16v engine that has a longer engine block and different shape sump.
26 lis 2023 · I have a engine from a fiat Punto. 323B66 , 1.4L 16v. I'm having trouble finding the right torque setting and method of tightening the bolts down. The engine uses a metal gasket and unsure if gasket sealer should be used on new installation. is there a time period you should wait after tightening stage 1 then stage two and three.

5 kwi 2010 · Just completed the replacement of the starter motor and wanted to share with others how I found the job.I purchased a second hand starter for £13.99 off fleabay and with postage it all came to £22....not bad at all I thought as long as it worked.I did a quick bench test of the starter before tackling the job...all good so a bargain after all.
4 sie 2022 · It may be a cam belt rather than a chain depending on model. Not impossible to lock up, but most chain or belt failures result in engine spinning over with no compression but not starting. You stated it doesn't crank at all. Yep not cranking at all, thought it may be like a safety feature when the belt snaps. B.
