Federal Work Study Employers. Funding for the Federal Work Study (FWS) program is limited and we cannot guarantee employers will receive interested applicants. If you do FWS students, you may not hire more students than the number of positions advertised on Handshake. The FWS program operates during the Fall and Spring semesters.
