The Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America, doing business as Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association, commonly known as SFWA (ˈsɪfwə or ˈsɛfwə) is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization of professional science fiction and fantasy writers. While SFWA is based in the United States, its membership is open to writers worldwide.
Fantasy Writer's Guild • Last activity 18/Oct. This is a group for fantasy writers who would like a place to share work but also collaborate on ideas and foster a sense of community. There are no specific sub-genre requirements - anything fantasy goes. This includes romantasy, paranormal fantasy, science fantasy, etc.
Presents credentials acceptable to the Membership Committee and provides the names of three current Full SFWA members as references, or, alternatively, provide an affidavit that shows professional or developmental support to science fiction and fantasy writers.
