3 maj 2024 · - Fallout 3 runs as well on Win10 and 11 as it did on Win7 (had plenty of bugs out of the gate, and a tendency to corrupt saves). Even the original disc based version. As do the vast majority of games that can be downloaded from EPIC, Steam, etc. I also got the GOTY version of game from EPIC on a give away.

Check the box next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for:". From the dropdown menu, select the version of Windows that the game is designed to run on.
There are workarounds for this issue in the steam launcher, however, they will not apply to the game pass version as the download files from the Microsoft Store and Xbox app are encrypted. Open up the fallout.ini file in My Documents\My Games\Fallout3 (make a copy first for backup) Find the line: bUseThreadedAI=0 (Open the ini file with notepad - Click Edit - then find - Copy this line and paste it into the ' find what' box) change it to: bUseThreadedAI=1.
So, today I reinstalled Fallout 3 after the update that supposedly makes Fallout 3 playable on Windows again. The installation failed several times, but it was eventually figured out. Upon installation finishing, I could launch the launcher successfully, no problems whatsoever, and even launch the game itself.
Hello, I have recently purchased the game on demand version of Fallout 3 which is supposed to support English language but I got the game in French. Also I don't see any option to change the game language from the game menu either so I suppose it has only French content. My account region is Belgium and I am also connecting from Belgium.
24 lis 2015 · Alright I have Fallout 3 DLC discs from way back. The ones that were release Pre-GOTY Edition. 2 Discs each containing on them only two DLCs. Now I understand that this issue is going around. I have been able to install the DLCs on to the Xbox One, but Fallout 3 does not see them on the Xbox One.
