Recover your custom templates. Learn how to find your custom templates created with earlier versions of Office and access a custom templates location.
16 lip 2020 · Here is the default location for Office 2016, 2013, 2010, and 2007 on Windows 10, 8, 7, and Vista. The location is C:\Users< Username >\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates\Document Themes.
The 'Default personal template location' box specifies where Excel looks for your own templates. Save or move your template there. (You can change the template location if you prefer)
If so, you can save yourself time and trouble by setting a default template for Excel to use each time you create a new workbook. As long as you name the template correctly, and put it in the correct location, Excel will use your custom template to create all new workbooks.
If you’re saving a workbook to a template for the first time, start by setting the default personal templates location: Click File > Options. Click Save, and then under Save workbooks, enter the path to the personal templates location in the Default personal templates location box.

26 lut 2019 · Your personal templates are supposed to be inside the folder C:\Users\YOUR-NAME\Documents\Custom Office Templates. Open in Excel the menu File > Options > Save, and ensure that your folder is entered inside the field Default personal templates location.
