Elkhart County Highway maintains approximately 1,150 miles of roadway outside of incorporated cities and towns within the County, and all bridge structures inside and outside cities and towns that are not located on state highways. The department also provides Geographic Information Systems (GIS) link data to geographic location for management and analysis.
The Mission of Elkhart County Highway is to provide the most efficient road and bridge network possible with the resources provided.
