I've been shopping around for an electric mountain bike and have gotten great customer service - quick answers to all my questions from www.bikesdirect.com They certainly seem to have the best deals on Shimano STEPS mid drive ebikes. I found this video about the bike I am considering - have you heard about it?
My goal was to build a capable, reliable bike with a decent range and level of power to keep me entertained I want to start out with a Thank You to the participants of this forum. 2 kwi 2018 · I received installed my new Luna BBSHD, connected up the speed sensor, display, and throttle. After putting it up on a bike stand and turning the crank, I have no peddle assist. I also tried the throttle, still not motor. The first time I tried the throttle I heard a small movement, but nothing after that.
29 lip 2020 · The manual says this bike has 6 pedal assist modes + walk mode. It has a ring sensor on the crank. The lead to the missing display has 5 wires: black, red, yellow, blue, green. I've found some other displays online with 5 assist modes + walk mode, but not six. I have no idea whether a display intended for another controller would work.

7 lip 2017 · The good news is replacing the controller is an easy task and does not require taking the drive off the bike. IT should take you no longer than 30 minutes to switch out the controller. Before getting replacement controller, first remove the old controller carefully and check the connections, especially the phase wire connectors.
13 gru 2017 · A 36V bike controller will run the battery from 40V at full charge down to a lower limit of 30V. A 48V controller will run from 54.6V at full charge down to 42 volts. If you put a 48V battery on a hard wired 36V controller, the 48V battery could run down past 42 v all the way down to its internal limit of 33 volts.
