I'm playing through Mark of the Assassain and I'm at the point where you have to choose to go with Tallis or not. I've played it once before but I didn't pay too much attention then so I'm not really sure what to do.

Tallis wants to kill Salit and get the list of names from him because she doesn't want those people and their families/friends to be captured/tortured/killed. So, her being Qunari or Ben-Hassrath doesn't really weigh into her motivations at all.
Tallis gets herself and Hawke out of imprisonment, the original plan to rob the 'Heart of the Many' wasn't a bad one, and the non-lethal stealthing was all her idea anyway. Meanwhile Anders radicalizes to the point of becoming a terrorist.
