17 paź 2015 · When browsing, a Yahoo popup often appears asking to add a yahoo extension. I do not want the extension but that option is not given. All I can do is close the popup only to have it reappear a few clicks later.
If not, click the pointer and select > bottom, click Show all users > uac prompt > wait > scroll down and find Yahoo Messenger ( don't scroll too fast and miss it ) > click Disable on the bottom right .

21 gru 2014 · I use the AdBlock Plus extension to do this - when you log in to your Yahoo Mail, wait for the annoying overlay to appear, then click on your AdBlock Plus icon. Select the option for "block element", then (left) click on the overlay. AdBlock will then block that element of the pop up.
