29 mar 2020 · Diablo 1, 2, & 3 were all developed first and foremost for the PC. Saying Diablo 3 was developed as a console game is not an educated statement. D3’s console gameplay/control experience doesn’t hold a candle to D3’s PC controls. It wasn’t designed for console to start but they tested controller support early.

9 cze 2024 · Diablo is a time tested and loved game that has existed on consoles since the xbox 360/ps3. Now we have controller support on the nintendo switch platform as well but PC still over all these years has not been granted access to these features. I have a steam deck and want nothing more than to be able to run diablo 3 on it woth native controller support. Its honestly shocking this doesnt exist ...

9 mar 2021 · Add controller support to pc. I did play on Xbox each season but quit in season 22 when I saw people with modded gear clear 150 on day one of the seasoned. I know the game is old, but you said you’re going to add that to Diablo 2 remaster why not in Diablo 3 yet? I have nerve damage in my hands so mouse and keyboard isn’t really an option for me. 1 lut 2024 · I just picked up the original Diablo off of Battle.net along with the first two Warcrafts. The Warcraft games run fine, but Diablo fails to start with a “Direct Draw Error”, saying in short “Diablo was unable to properly initialize your video card using DirectX.” It goes on to tell me that I can install DX3 using the Diablo CD.

D3 design was primarily with console in core, hence the 6 button skill system oppose to traditional system. Its very easy to implant controller support on D3 oppose to D1 or D2.
9 cze 2024 · Diablo 3 on the couch with a controller sounds like a great time, especially on a Steam Deck. While you’re right about the console versions having controller support, it’s important to remember the PC version was designed from the ground up for mouse and keyboard. Implementing full controller support might require more than just a simple port.
