The Hero Editor is a tool that allows you to create (offline) custom items, characters, and more for Diablo 2 Resurrected.
Hero Editor only works with Diablo II LoD saves. There are ones provided in the pack. Edit what you want onto the saves provided and then copy the D2 LoD save into the D2 Resurrected save folder.
25 lut 2006 · Unlike the days of 1.00-1.09 where there were a bunch (usually >10) editors out there, the only two functional editors for 1.10 and 1.11 are UDieToo and Hero Editor, the later isn't recommended for usage with mods because it simply cannot adopt to changes.
21 kwi 2022 · Hero editors or trainers are used for single player editing of characters. The one that works across multiple versions of Diablo II, including 1.13, Pluggy and the newest official version - Hero Editor v1.04.

Hero Editor does not work with d2r saves. The work around is to use the d2 LoD saves make what you want and copy the d2 LoD save into the d2r directory. D2R then converts the save file into a d2r file and you can transfer the items to the characters you want.
