23 lip 2013 · This can occur when a service has not started. Click Start > All Programs > Administrative Tools > Services > General Tab. Scroll down to and double-click the Plug and Play service and make sure it is set to Automatic and that it is running, click OK, etc. and restart the computer.
15 paź 2008 · If your Device Manager is completely blank or empty, then there are two possibilities of why the problem is occurring: either you have a critical Windows service disabled or your permissions in the registry for the Device Manager key are corrupt.
