i think i can also add an option to copy the crosshair as commands instead of just crosshair codes for some users without cluttering the interface too much. the previous crosshairs would be positioned below the main preview. when scrolling with the modal open, the scrolling would solely affect the previous crosshairs, allowing users to have a static preview on top and scroll down comfortably.
Tbh the crosshaor codes are useful for sharing specific crosshairs, but when you're looking at data like the size and gap specifically, they're much more effective. Also, I found it very beneficial to learn the 5 commands you actually need for changing your crosshair in console, just for general usage

23 wrz 2023 · In CS2, the crosshair doesn't "stretch out" so much while moving, jumping, etc. The 3 dots that surround the central dot stay near the central dot at all times. And if you look very closely, in CS2, there are 3 very dim dots in addition to the normal ones that stretch further away when moving or jumping, like in CS:GO.

Lastly, we might use certain crosshair colors over another not just because of what we associate with it (common ground), or just because we like it (straightforward aspect), but also because it stands out (uncommon).

I've talked to players about this before, but if you notice in the diagram provided by OP the green crosshair stands out very nicely on most objects. This is actually due to how our color perception works and the light wave frequencies the cones in our eyes are most sensitive to.
