Craig Lake State Park is the most remote in Michigan’s state park system, spanning more than 9,700 acres in Baraga and Marquette counties. The park is home to hike-in backcountry campsites (reservations only), yurts, rustic cabins, many miles of trail, including the North Country Trail, six lakes, and a variety of wildlife.

2 lut 2024 · For travelers looking for a unique camping experience, the park has two onsite yurts available for rent: The Teddy Lake yurt and the Keewaydin Lake yurt. The Teddy Lake yurt is located in the forest surrounding Teddy Lake and sleeps up to four people.
22 sie 2012 · Craig Lake State Park in Baraga County has added an alternative to the traditional camping experience with the completion of its new 20-foot Keewaydin Lake yurt. Yurts are sturdy, round, tent-like structures that can be traced back through history for some 3,000 years.
Two yurts are available: one at Keewaydin Lake and one at Teddy Lake. Adventurous Michiganders can also appreciate cozy cabins at $68-90 per night or traditional rustic campsites at $15 per night. There’s an option here for everyone.
