Updated COVID-19 vaccine now available at CVS Pharmacy. WOONSOCKET, R.I., SEPT. 13, 2023 — CVS Health® (NYSE: CVS) today announced that the updated COVID-19 vaccine recently authorized by the FDA and recommended by the CDC is now available at its CVS Pharmacy locations.
The bivalent vaccines, which offer better protection against COVID-19 caused by the omicron variant, have been authorized for use as a single booster dose at least two months after primary or booster vaccination.
