The Columbia County School District (CCSD) is a school district based in Lake City, Florida that encompasses the entire Columbia County, Florida. [1] The district is controlled jointly by the five members of the Columbia County School Board Leasing Corporation and the Superintendent of Schools, both elected by county voters.
District Superintendent. In April 2021, Dr. Flynt was named the Superintendent of the Columbia County School District. He has worked in district leadership since 2008 as a Chief Academic Officer, Area Superintendent and Associate Superintendent as well as serving as the principal of Peachtree Ridge High School.
