31 sie 2021 · CoinGecko's web app is significantly faster and more stable. Often actions don't go through on CoinMarketCap but it makes up for it in features and its portfolio management IMHO. As I mentioned earlier, at first glance CoinMarketCap just looks like a newer version of CoinGecko to me and seems to use a modern framework that would explain its heaviness.
23 sie 2020 · I use the Coingecko app and it’s great. You can create a favourites list to follow only the coins you want to see and can even add your amounts to keep track of your gains or losses. They also have a cool currency calculator and the candies for daily use is a free reward. The news feed is regularly updated as well. I’m a big fan of Coingecko.

20 maj 2022 · Sorry for the issue - we had some downtime on Friday. The problem has since been rectified. If the problem persists, do let us know. So today I logged out of the app on iOS and now I can’t log back in. I can log into my portfolio on my laptop just fine but when trying to log in….
11 wrz 2021 · Alternate solution: you can create read only api's for the exchanges that you are using & import them in blockfolio app it will load all transaction automatically. (Remember this will take some time to sync ) I'd suggest Coinstats, but I don't if they have automatic connection with coingecko portifolio, although I think they use coingecko API ...
21 lut 2021 · I have one main portfolio for all the coins from different exchanges and I have over a 100 coins where I might only have $15-20 holdings on some. I also want to archive the sold ones in another portfolio so I can just concentrate on the active ones. Its a lot of work trying to enter all the transactions, in another portfolio.

Is anyone using their API to get insights from coins with machine learning? Like if we monitor the trending coins and see if we can find patterns on coin gains or losses based on that.
16 lut 2021 · I need price actions: 1min, 5min, 15min, 1h from CoinGecko(CG) for selected coins. On the CGs API page, things are quite simple. When I set the data in CG API request for 1 min and click execute I clearly see in Json needed data. When I import that in Excel it forks fine.
