3 mar 2023 · The City’s curbside chipper service for large limbs starts April 17. So what should you do with unwanted yard waste in the meantime? We recommend cutting tree limbs into lengths less than 4 feet and placing the trimmings in a trash bin labeled “yard waste.”
Local Waste Services provides trash, recycling, and yard waste hauling services for the City of Hilliard. Each single-family residence is provided with 65-gallon wheeled containers for trash and recycling (condominium residences receive 35-gallon containers).
Place yard waste a few feet away from other materials to identify easier, as it will be collected separately on the same day. Missed materials must be reported within 24-hours of the normal pickup day. Please contact our office for collection of Freon based appliances ($50.00 disposal fee per item).
Go Green Hilliard cannot schedule yard waste pick up. You can place yard waste in a brown bag with your curbside recycling in Hillard on Tuesdays from April 1 to November 30. Loose leaf collection will be scheduled in the Fall.
